‘Help is at hand’ campaign to help Stoke residents to access cost of living support

The ‘help is at hand’ campaign has brought services together to offer targeted support that will focus on:

  • Money

  • Energy

  • Food

From Monday, 25 September the Citizens Advice team from Staffordshire North & Stoke on Trent will be at Meir Matters community lounge in Weston Road, Meir, 10am to 12pm, and every Monday afterwards to offer support and advice.

The large-scale benefit and tax credit take up campaign will target those who may not be accessing benefits and tax credits they are entitled to.

The first stop is Meir and will be moving on around the city from there over the next eighteen months.

Residents can also access a free benefits calculator in order to make sure they are receiving all of the support they should be getting, via the services available on the council’s website at www.stoke.gov.uk/helpisathand
